Thanks to the incredible generosity and support from our community, we’ve made great strides towards our goal of raising $500,000 to build a much-needed women’s sober home. Since June 2024, we have raised an amazing $162,500!

    Our sober living residences provide secure and nurturing spaces for those on the path to sustained recovery. These affordable housing options offer a well-organized, safe, clean, and substance-free atmosphere, alongside a positive environment conducive to engaging with life beyond treatment settings.

  • Transitional Sober Housing Program

    Our transitional housing programs provide the stability needed to transition from addiction to self-sufficiency. Current MJD Housing residents may apply.

  • MJD Support Group

    We provide essential support to family members and friends dealing with a loved one's substance use disorder, offering education, local resources, peer support, and a beacon of HOPE to navigate this challenging journey together.

  • Resources for Recovery

    Find emergency and non-emergency resources in the Pioneer Valley for individuals, families, and those battling substance use disorder.

  • Recovery Support Groups

    We incorporate area recovery support groups and 12-step programs to foster positive social connections.

  • Substance Abuse Education Programs

    We utilize area substance abuse disorder educational programs that empower individuals and families with knowledge and resources.

Our Why: Michael’s Legacy

The Michael J Dias Foundation was founded in 2011 by the family of Michael J Dias, an energetic, talented, accomplished, loving, and selfless person who ended his suffering while battling addiction. Through loss, Michael’s loved ones recognized a need for support and HOPE for those affected by addiction. Today, Michael’s spirit lives on through positivity, education, aid, and support spread to others through our Foundation and made possible by our volunteers and donors. Our story does not end here.

    Michael’s House is a sober community and gateway of hope for men in early stages of addiction recovery.

    Sean’s Place is a self-governing transitional sober community where men who are ready to move out of the strict sober home setting, but still need to live in a sober community and have the close support of their peers.

    Christian and Brian’s House is operated in the same manner as Michael’s House — a sober community for men in early stages of recovery.
