Supporting Families with Loved Ones in Recovery
The Michael J Dias Foundation, Inc. recognizes that substance and alcohol use disorders affect not only the individuals struggling but also their families and loved ones. We are dedicated to offering a specially designed support group for those supporting someone on their journey to recovery.
All Are Welcome!
Be a part of the Michael J Dias Support Group, where families and friends facing the trials of supporting a loved one on their path to recovery find solace. We gather every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the Our Lady of Fatima Parish Center, 438 Winsor St., Ludlow, MA.
In our group, we provide education on substance misuse, share local resources, offer peer support, and, above all, instill hope for those grappling with the challenges of caring for someone with a substance use disorder. We warmly welcome anyone seeking support.
For the latest updates on safety measures, reach out to Maureen at 413-563-6226.
Join us in a compassionate and empathetic community. You don’t have to face this journey alone.
You Are Not Alone
Whether you're just beginning to navigate the impact of a loved one’s addiction or have been walking this road for years, the Michael J. Dias Foundation invites you to join our family support group—a space where healing, hope, and connection can begin.
There’s no judgment, no pressure—just a room filled with understanding, shared experience, and genuine support.
Led by peers who understand the complexities of loving someone with a substance use disorder, our meetings offer encouragement, helpful tools, and a safe space to talk, listen, or be present. You’ll leave with practical insights, a sense of community, and the reminder that caring for yourself is not only okay—it’s essential.
When family members heal, it strengthens the foundation their loved ones need to grow in recovery.
Your well-being matters. Taking this step may be one of the most meaningful ways to support both yourself and those you care about.
We hope you’ll join us. Healing starts here.
